Tire sealant is a viscous compound that is injected into tires, either as a preventive measure or after a puncture occurs. When a small hole or puncture develops in the tire, the centrifugal force of the rotating wheel distributes the sealant to the leak site, where it hardens and fills the hole to restore air retention. This product can temporarily restore mobility to a damaged tire and is commonly used in run-flat tire systems.
